About the Role:
Norfolk Antique and Reclamation Centre is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our team. This reports to the yard manager, working closely with them to ensure our products are photographed and listed for sale correctly.
You'll organise stock ready for shooting, photograph, measure, and label items for sale, and manage the full image workflow from capture through to editing and cataloguing in Adobe Lightroom, with occasional use of Adobe Photoshop.
In this role, you will:
- Photograph products in our onsite photography studio.
- Accurately measure products and record attributes ready for listing on our online selling platforms.
- Back up, catalogue, and edit images using Adobe Lightroom.
- Create listings on our website.
- Capture and edit video clips for product listings.
- Capture and edit photos and videos around the site for use on our social media channels.
- Keep the photo studio clean, tidy, and ready for use.
- Keep the photography and video kit clean, with batteries charged and cards formatted.
- Communicate with the yard manager and yard team to ensure products are prepared, cleaned, and ready to shoot.
- Communicate with management for guidance on item descriptions and prices.
- Once trained, keep the website up to date regarding sales and new stock.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Be comfortable using manual controls on a DSLR camera – Essential
- Have a good understanding of off-camera flash – Essential
- Have experience working with studio flashes – Desired
- Have an exceptional eye for detail, framing, and lighting products, along with accuracy in measuring and labelling them for entry into our inventory – Essential
- Be confident using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop – Essential
- Have your own transport or a reliable alternative. Our site is in a rural location and public transport options are limited – Essential
- Be comfortable working partly outdoors year-round, whatever the weather – Essential
- Be able to use a manual pallet truck to move stock in and out of the studio, with training provided – Essential
- Be physically fit, as the role involves a degree of lifting to position items in the studio – Essential
- Have the ability to prioritise your own workload – Essential
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office – Essential
