Job Summary
AutoMoney Trust Limited is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Data, Systems & Business Improvement Analyst to join our business in Redditch.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining data analysis, management information, systems development, process improvement and project delivery. You will work directly with the Chief Executive, senior managers, operational teams and external technology suppliers to identify opportunities and deliver practical improvements across the business.
The role has no direct reports, but you will take ownership of projects and influence colleagues and suppliers to ensure effective delivery.

- Starting basic salary of £35,000 - £43,000 per annum

What are the main responsibilities?
As a Data, Systems & Business Improvement Analyst, you will have a varied role, where your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain a clear, reliable Management Information and reporting suite.
- Analyse operational and commercial data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Turn data and analysis into practical recommendations for senior management.
- Identify inefficient processes, poor system design and unnecessary manual activity.
- Translate operational needs into clearly defined system and business requirements.
- Coordinate system developments and improvements with external technology suppliers.
- Manage business improvement and technology projects from initial concept through to implementation.
- Develop testing plans, coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure changes meet agreed requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, support contract negotiations and challenge poor delivery.
- Identify opportunities to use artificial intelligence, automation and analytical tools to improve business processes.
What we look for from our Data, Systems & Business Improvement Analyst?
You will be naturally curious, analytical and motivated to improve how a business operates. You will be comfortable challenging existing processes, solving complex problems and taking ownership of delivery.
You should have:
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A good level of numerical ability, ideally mathematics to A Level standard or equivalent.
- Experience producing management information, reports or dashboards.
- Experience analysing data and presenting clear findings and recommendations.
- Experience of business systems, system development or technology-led change.
- Project and delivery management experience.
- The ability to translate operational needs into clear system requirements.
- Experience of testing, quality assurance or user acceptance testing.
- Operational management experience or a strong understanding of operational environments.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- A proactive, creative and solutions-focused mindset.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills or experience with equivalent analytical tools.
What are we looking for in our successful applicants?
Experience in financial services, consumer credit, motor finance or another regulated environment would be beneficial. Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, AI tools, automation or business analysis techniques would also be advantageous.
