The Food and Beverage Assistant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service within our establishment. This position involves assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages, ensuring a high standard of hospitality and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Assist in the preparation of food items in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, kitchens, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle catering requests for events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
- Provide support to baristas in preparing coffee and other beverages as required.
- Uphold food safety regulations to guarantee the health and safety of all guests.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and catering services.
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with food safety practices to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Barista experience is an advantage, particularly in coffee preparation.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
