We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Operation Manager for our Dartford CFC branch.
Role and responsibilities
- To oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities and team.
- Leading by example to effectively manage daily operations within the CFC.
- To Manage, coach and develop a team of direct reports, providing clear direction, performance feedback and support to achieve operational requirements
- Promote efficiency and positive team culture
- Measure and report warehouse activities and colleague performance
- All aspects of stock control
- High operating standards within all warehouse areas
- Accurate goods receiving and timely discrepancy reporting
- Implement methods to promote accuracy
- o Manage stock irregularities and communicate effectively
- o Fulfilment of customer orders – picking, packing, loading and dispatching with high level of accuracy in line with the customer’s request
- Health & Safety
- Promote and maintain safe working practices within the warehouse
- Maintain CFC Fleet, driver records & training, and FORS documentation
- Stock profiling and warehouse layouts
- Supporting purchasing activity
- Creating solutions within the warehouse for bespoke commercial enquiries
- Strong compliance with the use of all systems provided
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lead, manage and motivate a small team of warehouse operatives and drivers. Solution-first attitude. Personable leader with excellent people skills.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years minimum experience working in a warehouse leadership role.
Preferred skills
Strong Microsoft skills (Excel)
Previous electrical product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
