Bartender

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and Serve Drinks: Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to established recipes. Ensure that drinks are made with consistent quality, flavour, and presentation.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Maintain Bar Area: Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized. Regularly clean bar equipment, counters, and glassware to ensure proper hygiene and safety.
- Cash Handling and Transactions: Accurately handle payments, including cash and credit transactions. Provide correct change and issue receipts as necessary.
- Stock and Inventory: Monitor and manage the bar’s inventory of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies. Replenish stock levels and notify management when supplies are low.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all customers are of legal drinking age and follow all state and local alcohol regulations. Observe customer behaviour and intervene when necessary to prevent over-serving. Maintain awareness of health and safety guidelines related to food and alcohol handling.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other bar staff, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Assist in training new bartenders and staff as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes and cocktail preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle cash and transactions.
