Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bricklayers Labourer to support our construction team on various projects. The successful candidate will assist with general labouring tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and safety on-site. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in masonry and construction work within a professional environment.
Duties
- Assist bricklayers and masons with preparing materials and tools for construction tasks
- Mix mortar and carry bricks or blocks to designated areas on-site
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic masonry equipment under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including clearing debris and waste materials
- Support with the installation of roofing, carpentry, or welding tasks as required
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with site setup and dismantling at the end of each working day
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and masonry techniques is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills related to bricklaying
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy construction environment
- Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality on-site
Pay: £18.00-£22.50 per hour
