We are a growing business specialising in Cash Registers, EPOS systems and payment solutions, supplying customers throughout the UK via telephone and online sales. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a Customer Operations Assistant to join our friendly team at our Cheltenham office, conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Cheltenham Spa train station.
The Role
This is a varied position combining customer service, technical support, product preparation and order fulfilment. No two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers and being part of a small, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service via telephone, email and live chat.
- Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Handle warranty claims and customer issues efficiently.
- Provide first-line technical support to customers.
- Program and configure products before dispatch (full training provided).
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately.
- Ensure customer enquiries are handled in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with product data and administration as our product range continues to grow.
Skills & Experience
- Previous customer service experience is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Well organised with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Experience with product data management would be advantageous but is not essential.
