Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House couple to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, delivering exceptional service to our guests. The successful candidates will play a key part in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, maintaining high standards of food safety, and providing memorable experiences for all visitors. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable from arrival to departure
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle payments securely and process transactions using the POS system
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times
- Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and specialised drinks
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and dietary options to guests
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
- Assist in setting up events or catering functions when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends if required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Experience as a barista or in food preparation is a plus but not mandatory
- Personal presentation should be professional and welcoming
