We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant’s standards. Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards.
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or fish stations, ensuring efficiency and organisation.
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items in collaboration with the Head Chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available.
- Supervise junior kitchen staff during service periods, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Experience in meal preparation across various cuisines is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times.
- Previous experience serving or working closely with front-of-house staff is advantageous.
- Culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates with substantial experience.
