Are you an experienced transport professional ready to step into a leadership role? We're looking for a hands-on Duty Manager to keep our coach operation running smoothly, day in day out.
The role:
You'll be the backbone of our daily operation — making sure drivers are where they need to be, customers are taken care of, and disruptions are handled quickly and professionally. No two days are the same and you'll need to think on your feet.
Day to day you'll be:
- Building and managing driver rotas and daily work allocation
- Being the first point of contact for customers and colleagues when things don't go to plan
- Keeping tachograph and Tranzaura records accurate and compliant
- Supporting the team with admin and making sure company agreements are followed
- Covering late notice and emergency rail work when needed
You'll thrive here if you:
- Know the coach or bus industry from the inside
- Understand EU drivers hours and domestic transport regulations
- Can stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions
- Communicate clearly whether that's on the phone, by email or face to face
- Hold a clean driving record and strong attendance history
Useful extras:
- Tachograph card holder
- Current DBS certificate
- CPC qualified
Hours: Five days from seven including early mornings, late evenings and weekends
Work Location: In person
