CNC Machinist — I&G Engineering Ltd
I&G Engineering Ltd is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. We work with both milling and turning operations and are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
THE ROLE
As a CNC Machinist at I&G Engineering Ltd, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-quality precision components. You'll work to tight tolerances and engineering drawings, ensuring parts meet specification first time, every time.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience operating CNC milling and turning machines
Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Strong programming knowledge - writing and editing G-code and/or CAM software is essential
Confident setting up machines from scratch, including tooling and offsets
Good understanding of speeds, feeds, and cutting tools
A keen eye for quality and attention to detail
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
