We are looking for someone who ideally has clinical experience, excellent communication, and organisation skills with the ability to multi-task. You should also be able to provide excellent customer service in order for patients to feel reassured and relaxed during procedures.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To assist in all outpatient and treatment room procedures undertaken under local anesthetic as required.
- To act as a ‘runner’ for theatre following an Induction and Training programme.
- To adhere to laser safety requirements and undergo regular update training.
- To measure patients accurately for compression hosiery as required following training provided by the stocking supplier.
- To assist in the ordering of medical consumables.
- To carry out regular stock checks so that levels are maintained for outpatient treatment areas and theatre.
- Carry out regular cleaning schedules & expiry date checks inline with the local infection prevention policy.
- To conduct pre operative calls, follow up post procedures and address all patient concerns accordingly.
- To prepare paperwork for theatre and clinic activity and maintain computer records on the Clinic Computer System as required.
- To have sound knowledge and working practice of infection control, and to update this knowledge.
- To ensure that equipment is handled correctly and maintained in safe working order.
- To attend all mandatory training and other clinical and customer service training as required.
- To participate in the personal Annual Performance Review and objective setting with the Line Manager.
- To work within the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of The Whiteley Clinic.
- To greet patients providing a high standard of professional interaction and service throughout their patient journey.
- To maintain and support harmonious working relationships within the clinic.
