Job Title: Mobile Facilities Assistant
Location: Cornwall - Mobile (travel required )
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: starting at £30,000.00 pa depending on experience
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Mobile Facilities Assistant to join our team. As a Mobile Facilities Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of multiple facilities across various locations. You will be required to travel to various sites, so a willingness to travel and a valid driver's license is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on facilities and equipment to ensure they are in good working order
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for major repairs and maintenance work
- Assist in setting up and tearing down for events and meetings
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Ensure that all facilities are clean and well-maintained
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, tenants, and visitors
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Experience with basic maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs will be useful
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to travel to multiple locations
- Valid driver's license ( company vehicle will be provided)
- Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kg
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
