Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces including offices, retail outlets, and industrial facilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap as needed
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Adhere to client-specific cleaning schedules and instructions to meet their expectations
- Ensure all areas are left tidy, organised, and presentable after each shift
- Dispose of waste responsibly in accordance with environmental policies
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided to suitable candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work and punctuality
