Social Media & Marketing Assistant — Part-Time (3 days/week)
1st Impressions is a small, growing marketing agency based in Lincolnshire, delivering Digital Marketing services such as Social Content, Paid Ads, Email Marketing and SEO for local businesses. We're hiring our first dedicated social content and digital marketing assistant to work across a small portfolio of clients. This role includes a mixture of working from home and being physically on-site (client-side). The majority of work will be completed remotely and from home, however there will be a few on-site days with clients in and around Skegness, Boston and Lincoln. You'll visit Lincolnshire client locations to shoot photo and video then own the content from shoot to post: editing, scheduling, publishing, and replying to comments and messages. You'll also be required to assist with other digital duties, such as email campaigns, SEO, and digital design. A driving licence and access to a car are essential, you'll be moving between sites across Lincolnshire with mileage covered.
What you'll be doing
- On-site content shoot days - photos and video across sites, and local area content
- Editing and posting to social platforms: a steady weekly rhythm of feed posts and stories
- Light community management, replying to comments and DMs, building relationships
- Basic graphic design for digital assets
- Supporting with monthly email marketing campaigns
- Supporting with written content for websites
- Monthly reporting for each client
What we're looking for
- Comfortable shooting and editing quality photo and video on a phone - you don't need to work a studio set up, just a good eye and a fast workflow
- Experience running social accounts for a business - you understand what makes a post worth stopping for
- Organised and reliable - this role runs on a monthly rhythm across multiple clients, so staying on schedule is vital
- Based locally (Lincolnshire based), with a driving licence and own transport for visiting client sites
- Comfortable sitting marketing meetings and talking to business owners and taking on light feedback/direction from them directly
- 1-2 years experience in a Marketing, Social Media or Design focussed role
- Creative and up-to date with the evolving world of digital marketing and social media trends
Nice to have, not essential
- Experience with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar) or SEO
- Experience using Design, Photo and Video tools (like the Adobe Suite or Canva)
- Experience utilising AI tools to improve daily workflow and efficiency
Pay: £14.00-£20.00 per hour
