I’m delighted to be working with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Cardiff who are looking to welcome a Graduate Accounts Trainee to their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is keen to build a long-term career within accountancy practice. You’ll receive excellent training, hands-on experience and full support towards your professional qualifications.
You must have Accountancy Practice experience!
You will gain exposure to a varied portfolio of clients while developing your technical and commercial accountancy skills, including:
Preparing statutory accounts
Assisting with bookkeeping and VAT returns
Preparing management accounts
Supporting senior members of the team with client work
Liaising with clients and building strong relationships
Working with cloud accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks
Developing your technical knowledge through professional study
A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related subject
Accountancy practice experience is essential!
Keen to build a career within accountancy practice
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Motivated, hardworking and eager to learn
Previous accountancy practice experience is advantageous but not essential
AAT or ACCA study is advantageous, but full training will be provided
£25,000 – £27,000 salary
