This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager looking for a new challenge and career progression.
You will support and oversee daily running of our clubs including after school and holiday club based across 3 different sites in Basingstoke.
This is a combined role to include office (from home) and hours in ratio during the operational hours of each club.
You will have experience and a proven track record in managing a childcare setting, ensuring the qualitative and commercial success of each setting, encouraging growth and expansion.
You will act as line Manager to all staff ensuring they are supported within their roles.
The desired candidate is a Manager that is driven, quality and results focused and above all else has an unwavering commitment to seeing the clubs achieve the very best outcomes for each child and family using the services.
Person Specification:
Essential Qualities:
* Experience of working with 4 to 11 years old
* Experience of administration
* Experience of working in a management capacity
* Delivering equal opportunities in a Play setting
* Understanding the varied needs of children and families
* Providing and facilitating safe, stimulating play
* Proven leadership skills
* Excellent communication skills together with sufficient understanding and use of English to ensure the well being of the children *
* Ability to work on own initiative, using judgement and common sense
* Knowledge of Ofsted standards
* Knowledge of the EYFS
* Minimum level 3 qualification in Childcare
* Current full clean driving licence with use of own car
Desirable Qualities:
* Appropriate child protection training
* At least 2 years' experience of working in a childcare setting
* Experience of working in a play based setting
* Experience of budgeting
* Ability to use IT based resources to support play and club administration
* Current 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate
* Food Hygiene Certificate
