ABOUT OUR COMPANY
- We are a SEPA registered waste management and recycling company operating from purpose-built facilities in Kirkcaldy. Our objective is to improve the local environment by helping local commercial organisations achieve their environmental objectives by efficiently diverting as much waste as possible from landfill and by maximising recycling opportunities.
- We offer a reliable and efficient service for commercial bins (cardboard and paper, dry mixed recycling, food waste, general mixed waste, mixed coloured glass waste) and commercial skip and a roll-on/roll-off box hire service that provides our clients with an affordable and economical solution for disposing of large quantities of waste at their own premises and any of their worksites.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Aged over 30 for insurance purposes.
- Good attitude towards work and an interest in waste management.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Physically fit.
- Excellent communication and ability to follow instructions.
- Good initiative and common sense.
- Pleasant and approachable manner.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a loyal team.
- Able to work to deadlines and meet targets.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Must hold the relevant 7.5t license, HGV Class 2 and CPC.
ROLE DUTIES
- Performing daily vehicle safety inspections and completing the required paperwork.
- Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle.
- Delivering and uplifting skips at sites throughout Fife.
- Servicing bins at sites throughout Fife.
- Transporting material to sites throughout Fife.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Working closely with the site office to eliminate waste contamination.
SHIFTS
- Monday to Friday, no weekend work.
- 6am start.
