Duties
- Deliver engaging dance lessons across various styles suitable for different age groups and skill levels.
- Develop customised lesson plans that cater to individual student needs and progressions.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to encourage improvement and confidence.
- Organise and oversee dance rehearsals, performances, and studio events.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere that motivates students to reach their full potential.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to studio health and safety protocols.
- Assist with studio organisation, including scheduling classes and managing student attendance records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with dance trends.
Skills
- Proven experience teaching dance or related movement arts; certification or formal training in dance is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan lessons effectively.
- Creativity in lesson planning and choreography development.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Enthusiasm for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and enjoyment of dance.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during school holidays as required.
- A professional attitude with a commitment to promoting health, safety, and inclusivity within the studio environment.
Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
