Installation Electrician
Salary: Circa £55,000 – £65,000 (dependent on hours worked)
Location: Nationwide, head office in Chesterfield — candidates must live in or near the Midlands, close to site
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 12-hour days – 4 day working week
Travel to site on Monday morning and return home on Thursday evening.
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
About This Opportunity
We're working with a well-established electrical contractor operating in the retail and commercial sector, who are growing their team following a run of new contract wins. They're now looking for an experienced Installation Electrician to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
You'll work away Monday to Thursday on projects between 6 to 12 weeks, giving you a clear, consistent structure to your working pattern rather than constantly moving between short jobs. You'll take responsibility for overseeing installations on site, working alongside a mate or improver, and making sure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing electrical installations on site from start to finish
- Working alongside a mate or improver to deliver projects safely and efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship across projects between 6 to 12 weeks
- Travelling to site each Monday morning and returning home Thursday after the working day
- Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and site safety standards
About You
This opportunity would suit an Installation Electrician who is happy to work away and has experience on retail or commercial projects.

- 2391 Testing and Inspecting
- AM2
- 18th Edition
- ECS Gold Card
- IPAF
Desirable:
- Asbestos Awareness
- 3-day Emergency First Aid

- Average salary on a 48-hour working week of circa £65,000
