John Nicholls (Trading) Limited is a successful independent plumbing merchant business. We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant/Driver to join our team.
Job Purpose:
As a Warehouse Assistant/Driver you will be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse at our busy plumbing branch runs safely and smoothly, and be responsible for safely delivering goods to customers using a 3.5-tonne vehicle.
· Unloading, checking, and locating deliveries
. Check loads against delivery notes, and check against customer orders on screen.
.Go through all returns with Branch Admin on weekly basis and ensure all returns have debit note and supplier return attached.
· Preparing supplier returns
· Pick loads ready for customer orders
· Load delivery vehicles
· Produce customer paperwork
· Ensure the warehouse is always kept tidy
· Deliver products to customers professionally, safely, and on time
Who are we looking for?
You will take pride in delivering excellent customer service and strive to exceed customer expectations. You will have excellent communication skills and have experience of working in a warehouse. Knowledge of plumbing and heating would be an advantage.

Working Hours: 07.30 to 1700 Monday to Friday plus 08.00 to 12.00 alternate Saturdays.
