Sidcot Arms, Bridgwater Road are are looking for 1 full time and 2 weekend housekeepers to join our dynamic hospitality team, where your attention to detail and passion for cleanliness will create welcoming and comfortable environments for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, and linens to meet guest needs and uphold quality standards.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations.
- Provide friendly assistance to guests with requests or inquiries related to housekeeping services.
Experience
- Previous hotel experience or hospitality background is highly desirable.
- Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles that demonstrate attention to detail and reliability.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to sanitation and cleaning practices.
