Key4Life is a groundbreaking and award-winning charity which aims to reduce reoffending through the delivery of an innovative 7-step programme focusing on those in prison and those at risk of going to prison. The delivery manager will play a pivotal role in helping Key4Life develop and expand its service across the UK, ensuring that our results and standards are consistent.
Key4Life’s independent research has consistently demonstrated change in unlocking negative behaviors, which has resulted in:
· Less than 10% of participants to re-offend or be recalled, compared to the government rate of 50%
Over 60% of participants into employment, education, and training, compared to the government rate of 12%
Main purpose of job: Manages staff in the development and delivery of all Key4Life programmes, meeting the key deliverable targets to a high standard of the programmes across four areas of the UK (London, South-West, Midlands, and the North-West), helping the young men to transition from a life of crime to meaningful employment, education, and training. Also to manage relationships with key stakeholders
The Delivery Manager will be in charge of the execution of the comprehensive 7-step model and the violence reduction programme to a high standard for up to 250-300 men per year, ensuring the men successfully go through the 7-step model (pre and post-release)
· To ensure we meet and comply with all of our funder requirements and collate reports and independent research
· Ensuring we stay at a maximum 10% reoffending/recall rate and a minimum 60% into employment, education and training
· Responsible for leading by example a team of caseworkers, team members, and support workers to ensure we deliver to the highest standards, motivating and supporting the team to obtain great results
· Developing a close relationship with all key stakeholders, including prisons, probation, funders, corporates, key mentors, mentors etc. to make sure we meet their expectations
· Ensuring that the externally validated research and impact reports are gathered on a monthly basis for trustees, funders and prisons
· Working with young men in a 1-1 (case work and employability) and a group setting (helping to deliver training programmes in prison and in the community
· In charge of overseeing risk management, involving all Key4Life stakeholders
· Any other task as set out by the CEO
Position is responsible for: Senior Caseworker London, Coordinator, South West Caseworker, Northwest and Midlands
Location/Branch: South West and London, North West., East Midlands
We are looking for someone with:
· Experience in the criminal justice sector
· Experience with executing and managing projects to a high standard
· Experience delivering training sessions in the community and in prisons
· The ability to lead, engage and motivate others, and go above and beyond to achieve results
· Integrity and drive
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels (verbal & written).
· Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change. Key4Life is a fast-paced and ever-changing job
· A UK driver’s license is preferable for this job- you will be asked to travel and stay overnight when required
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
