Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Window and Door Installation and Repair Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of window and door installations at a high standard, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in diverse environments. The role will also involve repair work, including glass, hinge and lock/mechanism replacements, and door adjustments. Experience in this, and fascia and soffit replacements would be advantageous. The position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with their own van and tools, and is also self employed and may do their own work. This position is 3-4 days per week with the potential of 5 days a week to keep up with demand.
Responsibilities
- Install new windows and doors according to a high standard expected (including UPVC and aluminium products)
- Installation new double glazed units to old existing windows - UPVC, aluminium and timber required
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris and ensuring access for installation activities
- Collecting products and materials from supplier or unit with the responsibility of unloading rubbish at a specific place of work
- Conduct quality checks post-installation to ensure compliance with standards and client expectations
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Payment will be though CIS upon invoice (guaranteed on time) weekly
Own van and tools required.
Fuel is not included, so local to Tamworth is vital.
90% of our work is within a 7 mile radius of Tamworth.
