Kitchen Manager
All Things Nice, Marple
Salary: OTE £40k
Start Date: August 2026 (with a 4–6 week paid handover and training period available beforehand)
Lead One of Marple's Most Established Independent Kitchens
We're looking for an exceptional Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen at All Things Nice.
This is a rare opportunity to inherit a well-established, successful operation with a strong team, proven systems and an excellent reputation for quality and consistency.
Our current Kitchen Manager has played a key role in developing the kitchen over the last few years and will be moving on to travel the world. They leave behind a kitchen that is organised, respected and performing well.

This isn't a kitchen in need of rescuing.
This is an opportunity for the right leader to take ownership of a successful operation and help guide its next phase of growth.
A Proper Handover
The successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive 4–6 week paid handover and training period before taking full responsibility for the kitchen.
You'll work directly alongside the current Kitchen Manager to understand:
- Kitchen systems and procedures
- Ordering and supplier management
- Stock control and GP management
- Team structure and development
- Food safety and compliance
- Service standards and operational expectations
We want the transition to be successful for everyone involved and are committed to providing the support needed to help you succeed.

As a business, we're ambitious, continually improving and committed to creating an environment where both guests and team members enjoy spending their time.
The Role
As Kitchen Manager, your focus will be leading the operation rather than standing on the pass creating new dishes every week.

- Drive accountability, organisation and operational excellence throughout the kitchen.
- Work closely with the owners to continually improve systems, processes and performance.
About You
We're looking for a strong operator and leader.
You may already be a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef looking to step into a broader leadership role.
You'll bring:
- Experience leading teams in a busy hospitality environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A good understanding of stock control, GP and labour management.
- Experience maintaining high food safety and compliance standards.
- The ability to coach, develop and motivate a team.
- A calm and professional approach under pressure.
- A genuine pride in delivering consistent standards every day.
