ARU is a global university transforming lives through innovative, inclusive and entrepreneurial education and research. ARU holds a Gold award for the quality of its education, awarded through the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
ARU’s research institutes and four faculties bridge scientific, technical and creative fields. We deliver impactful research which tackles pressing issues and makes a real difference to our communities. Our academic excellence has been recognised by the UK’s Higher Education funding bodies, with 16 of our research areas assessed as world leading. We are the largest provider of Nursing, Midwifery, Health and Social Care students in the East of England, and we are also among the UK’s leading universities for degree apprenticeship provision, working with hundreds of employers across the UK.
About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic Associate Lecturers to join our Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship team within the School of Management. You will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of management and business modules to apprentices studying alongside their employment, using a blend of face-to-face and online delivery. Working closely with Module Leaders and the wider course team, you will facilitate engaging learning experiences, assess student work, provide timely feedback and support apprentices in applying academic learning to real workplace challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of future managers through an employer-focused, practice-based curriculum.
We are looking for individuals with relevant academic qualifications and/or substantial industry experience in business, management or a related discipline. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience of teaching or training adults, and the ability to engage learners from a wide range of professional backgrounds. Experience of higher education, degree apprenticeships or work-based learning is desirable, although we also welcome applicants with significant professional expertise who are passionate about developing the next generation of managers. You will be collaborative, organised and committed to delivering an outstanding learning experience.
