We are looking for a hardworking, passionate and motivated individual to join our team and help our customers enjoy the exciting experience offered at our Family Entertainment Centre.
Bowl Central features 6 bowling lanes, a cocktail lounge bar, and an arcade with more than 60 machines, creating a busy and vibrant entertainment environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the first Bowl Central location.
As part of the supervisory team, you will help ensure the smooth running of our bowling lanes, bar and arcade, while supporting and training the Prizes team to maintain the highest possible standards.
Your role will be focused on ensuring our customers have an excellent experience while supporting the wider team in delivering outstanding service and following the direction of the management team.
Due to the nature of the leisure and hospitality industry, full flexibility is essential. You will be required to work a mixture of weekdays, evenings, weekends and school holidays, as well as providing additional cover where necessary.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise the smooth day-to-day running of the bar, bowling lanes and arcade.
- Ensure the venue is opened on time and fully prepared for customers.
- Deliver efficient lane, bar and table service.
- Maintain excellent front-of-house customer service standards.
- Ensure the venue is closed down correctly and to the required standards each evening.
- Assist with stock and financial control, including the use of back-office stock management systems.
- Carry out till operation and cashing-up procedures.
- Manage stock rotation, deliveries, displays and wastage.
- Assist with the training, development and supervision of team members.
- Support the management team with the overall operation of the venue.
- Ensure food hygiene, health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an outgoing and lively personality and can quickly build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Has 2+ years of supervisory experience, preferably within hospitality, leisure or a similar customer-facing environment.
- Is committed to delivering excellent customer service.
- Has strong time-management skills and can prioritise effectively.
- Is confident delegating tasks and supervising a team.
- Is open and receptive to new information, procedures and ways of working.
- Maintains excellent personal presentation and hygiene standards.
- Has an understanding of food hygiene and health & safety requirements.
- Is reliable, hardworking and able to remain calm in a busy environment.
- Is fully flexible and available to work evenings, weekends and school holidays.
