Overview
We are seeking skilled Joiners and Plasterers specializing in Internal Wall Insulation to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to energy-efficient building projects by installing high-quality internal wall insulation systems. The ideal candidates will bring a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for craftsmanship. You will be instrumental in enhancing building performance, ensuring safety standards, and delivering exceptional results on every project.
Duties
- Measure, cut, and fit internal wall insulation materials using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers or adhesives to ensure optimal insulation adhesion
- Finish surfaces with plastering techniques, including taping, skimming, and smoothing for a seamless appearance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
- Our contracts are across Scotland which will require occasional working away (accommodation and overnight allowance paid)
- Skills
- Clean Driving Licence
- Full training and carding available
- Experience with boarding, plastering, carpentry, masonry, and fabrication techniques relevant to internal wall insulation installation is useful
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, trowels, and measuring devices; familiarity with power tools is essential
- Construction experience across various trades including roofing, painting, or masonry is advantageous

Pay: £650.00-£900.00 per week
