Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate CDP to join our culinary team. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Assist with meal preparation and plating, ensuring that each dish meets presentation standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Help in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
