Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Take customer orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner and addressing any special requests or dietary needs.
- Restock supplies as needed, including ingredients, cups, lids, straws, and napkins throughout shifts.
- Follow health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene practices.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista is a essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Basic skills in food preparation and basic maths are beneficial for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills are essential to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- A friendly attitude with excellent communication skills is vital for creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
