Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Support barista duties if required, including preparing coffee and other beverages
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
- Assist in setting up event spaces or special occasions as required
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
- Basic food preparation skills are desirable
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar environment is advantageous
- Barista experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating positive guest experiences
Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
