Join Our Planned Works Team as a Decorator
At Abri, we're committed to creating great homes and communities where people can thrive. Our Planned Works team plays a vital role in making that happen, delivering improvement and investment works that help our customers feel proud of their homes.
From kitchen and bathroom renewals to roofing, insulation and safety improvement programmes, we work across our communities to make a real difference. Using a combination of skilled in-house teams and trusted contractors, we're focused on delivering high-quality work, excellent customer experiences and long-lasting improvements.
Your new role
We're looking for two skilled Decorators to join our communal decorations team, helping us maintain and improve homes and communal spaces across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire and the surrounding areas.
This is more than just a decorating role. Every day, you'll help create places our customers are proud to call home.
You'll carry out internal communal decorating works as well as external decorations, including full wash-downs of properties. You'll take pride in delivering work to a high standard while providing an outstanding experience for our customers.
As you'll often be working in and around occupied homes, communication is key. We'll be looking for someone who enjoys working with people, keeps customers informed, and goes the extra mile to deliver a positive experience.
What you'll be doing
-
Delivering high-quality decorating works safely, efficiently and right first time.
-
Completing planned work within agreed timescales and budgets.
-
Ordering materials where needed and managing jobs effectively.
-
Keeping customers updated throughout the works.
-
Working collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to achieve the best outcomes.
-
Acting as an ambassador for Abri, demonstrating our values in every interaction.
What you'll need
You'll be a motivated and customer-focused decorator who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team. You'll bring a positive, can-do attitude, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering great service.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as you'll be covering a large geographical area and taking part in our out-of-hours call-out rota.
Please note that while some qualifications or previous experience may reference tiling, tiling is not required as part of this role.
What you'll get in return
We'll make sure you have the tools and support you need to succeed, including:
-
Company van equipped with van vault, racking and inverter
-
Fuel card
-
Company tablet and mobile phone
-
Full uniform and PPE
-
Supportive team environment and regular trade updates
-

-
28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
-
Generous pension scheme
-
Life assurance
-
Health and wellbeing support
-
