Semi Senior Accountant – Chichester

We’re working with a lovely medium-sized accountancy practice in Chichester that is looking to add a Semi Senior Accountant to its team.
The firm has built a genuinely positive working environment, combining the opportunities and client variety of a larger practice with a friendly, personal culture. They’re particularly keen to support people who want to keep learning and progress through the firm longer-term.
The Role
You’ll work with a varied portfolio of clients, with responsibilities likely to include:
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
- Assisting with personal tax returns where required
- Preparing VAT returns and management accounts
- Completing some bookkeeping and general accounting work
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
- Gradually taking on more complex work and client responsibility as you develop
About You
We’re keen to hear from anyone with previous experience in a UK accountancy practice who is ready to take the next step at Semi Senior level.
You could be AAT qualified, studying ACA/ACCA or developing through experience – the most important thing is that you're keen to learn and build your career in practice.
