Hours: Monday-Friday 07.30 – 17.00, Every other Saturday 08.00 – 12.00

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team at our Layton, Blackpool branch.
The Role
As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring building materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time to our customers. You will be the face of the business on the road, providing excellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver building materials to trade and domestic customers.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle remains roadworthy.
- Load and unload materials safely and securely.
- Complete deliveries within scheduled times.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery locations.
- Adhere to all company policies, health and safety regulations, and transport legislation.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Valid driving licence (Category C or Class2).
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
Desirable
- HIAB Certificate: Preferred. However, if the ideal candidate does not possess a HIAB certificate, the employer will provide training and cover the cost.
- Knowledge of landscaping & building products.
- Experience within a builders' merchant environment.
