New opportunities for 2026! We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Purchasing team and we are actively seeking a driven and energetic Purchasing Assistant based at our Head Office in the West Midlands
Purpose of the role:
Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, you will build professional and reliable relationships with our suppliers and internal customers as well as colleagues to ensure stock availability targets are met.
Key responsibilities:
- Keeping accurate and up to date information within the system
- Administrative duties
- Manage day-to-day purchasing queries from internal departments
- Reconciliations
- Data entry
- Submit export documentation to designated freight agents and assist with customs clearance
- Identify and assist with cost saving strategies and price comparisons
- Stock management of key accounts
