We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Deputy Manager for our Nursery to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist the Nursery Manager in coordinating daily nursery activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to policies.
- Support the supervision and management of nursery staff, promoting teamwork, motivation, and professional development.
- Oversee child safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Engage actively with children to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and nursery updates.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, child development milestones, and incident reports.
- Support the implementation of early childhood education programs aligned with best practices in childcare.
Experience
- Proven management experience within a nursery or childcare setting.
- Extensive hands-on experience working directly with children in early childhood education environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of childcare professionals.
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of engaging confidently with children, parents, and team members.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and safeguarding procedures.
- Experience working with children across different age groups and developmental stages.
- Valid driving license is preferred to facilitate nursery-related transportation needs.

Pay: £35,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
