Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Weighbridge and Site Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Operate the weighbridge system to accurately record vehicle weights and ensure proper documentation of shipments
- Manage stock levels through the warehouse management system (WMS), including stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and site facilities to uphold safety standards and prevent incidents
- Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate the load & unload processes efficiently and accurately
- Maintain detailed records using systems such as AS400 or equivalent enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for tracking shipments and inventory
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or construction site is highly desirable
- Proven skills in materials handling, stock management
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as AS400 is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work safely in physically demanding environments while adhering to safety protocols
