Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Venue Assistant to join our team.
As a Venue Assistant at Alley Cat's Pizza, you will be responsible for a variety of responsibilities so we need a hands-on individual happy to help with different tasks for both front of the house and back of the house.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, food preparation, bathrooms and restaurant when needed
- Wash and store kitchen equipment and utensils in line with health and safety procedures
- Ensure waste is disposed of properly and recycling is sorted correctly
- Support with deliveries - heavy lifting will be required, as well as frequent travel up and down stairs
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or Venue Assistant
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
