The role of Technical Manager:
- Leading development, testing, and validation of new and existing products
- Supporting technical simulations, data analysis, and performance validation
- Acting as technical authority both internally and externally
- Driving development of new product lines and enhancements to existing ranges
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify innovation opportunities
- Supporting patent creation and technical documentation
- Supporting production teams in resolving technical and process challenges
- Overseeing raw material compliance and supplier quality
- Working closely with the Quality Manager to maintain robust systems and standards
- Partnering with sales teams to align technical development with market needs
- Providing technical training and support to internal stakeholders
- Managing and developing the technical team, including direct reports
