Production Operative
Location: Haverhill, Suffolk
Pay: £12.85 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Our client is a rapidly growing food manufacturing business based in Haverhill, producing high-quality pet food from its purpose-built manufacturing facility.
We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join their busy team. This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced food production environment, where you will play an important part in ensuring products are prepared, packed and produced to a consistently high standard.
The Role
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Working as part of a busy production team
- Preparing and handling food ingredients
- Operating production equipment and machinery
- Packing and labelling finished products
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
- Following production instructions, recipes and food safety procedures
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Moving materials and products around the production area
- Working towards daily production targets
- Completing basic production records and paperwork
- Following all company health & safety procedures
- Supporting other areas of production when required
About You

- Happy carrying out repetitive tasks
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Able to follow instructions and procedures carefully
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment
- Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
Previous production or food manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidates.
