Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular spot checks, supervisions, and competency assessments for care staff in service users' homes.
- Conduct regular care reviews with clients and their families, ensuring care plans remain accurate, person-centred, and responsive to changing needs.
- Gather client feedback on care delivery, address concerns promptly, and escalate issues where required.
- Monitor and maintain CQC compliance, ensuring care delivery meets regulatory standards.
- Support the Registered Manager in preparing for CQC inspections and internal audits.
- Identify training needs and support carers with ongoing development and performance improvement.
- Carry out care quality audits, report findings, and follow up on action plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation using care management systems.
- Maintain up-to-date records, including supervision notes, spot check reports, and compliance documentation.
- Act as a point of contact for care staff, offering guidance and operational support.
- Liaise with service users, families, and internal teams to ensure high standards of care.
- Respond to concerns, incidents, and safeguarding matters in line with company policies.
- Travel across England as required to support operational needs.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Field Supervisor in the UK care sector.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel extensively across England.
- Strong understanding of CQC standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience conducting spot checks, supervisions, audits, and competency assessments.
- Familiarity with care management systems.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Fluent in English and Hindi. Gujarati is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
- Flexible, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
- Available to join ASAP.
Desirable
- Experience working within a domiciliary care setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and best practice.
