SHANCO are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of groundworks project for a government facility. This role will suit someone who is confident working independently and managing both the engineering and quality assurance aspects of the project.
The role will be based at a secure facility and will be subject to enhanced DBS check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out for foundations, pilling, drainage, kerbing, paving and external works
- As built surveys
- Carrying out QA inspections and maintaining accurate records
- Managing site documentation and engineering records
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Providing day-to-day engineering support to the site team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience setting out for groundworks packages
- Strong knowledge of drainage and infrastructure packages
- Experience managing QA processes and associated documentation
- The ability to work independently on a live construction project
- A valid CSCS card and relevant engineering qualifications
- A in date medical
