Job Overview
We are seeking a and experienced and passionate Cosmetic Dentist with a strong focus on composite bonding and aesthetic dentistry to join our growing private practice in Manchester City Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Dentist who is looking to add a regular visiting sessions, within a modern, professional and patient-focused private dental practice.
We are particularly interested in a Dentist with significant experience in composite bonding, excellent aesthetic judgement and a strong portfolio of completed cases.
Our aim is to provide a high level of personalised private dental care in a modern city-centre environment, with a strong focus on patient experience, clinical excellence and high-quality cosmetic dentistry.
The Role
- Provide high-quality composite bonding and aesthetic restorative dentistry, with the opportunity to provide veneers, smile makeovers and other cosmetic treatments.
- Carry out comprehensive cosmetic consultations, assessments and treatment planning.
- Assess patients' individual needs and design personalised treatment plans.
- Clearly explain treatment options, benefits, limitations, risks, expected outcomes and maintenance requirements.
- Confidently communicate with patients considering cosmetic dental treatment and help them make informed decisions.
- Deliver excellent clinical results with a strong focus on aesthetics, function, occlusion and minimally invasive dentistry.
- Work closely with the dental nurse and wider practice team to provide a seamless patient journey.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, appropriate clinical photography and excellent standards of documentation.
- Maintain full compliance with GDC requirements, professional standards and practice protocols.
- Remuneration and payment arrangements will be discussed at interview and agreed based on experience, clinical skills and experience in composite bonding.
Skills
- GDC-registered Dentist with a valid licence to practise in the UK.
- Proven experience in private dentistry and cosmetic dental treatment.
- Significant experience in composite bonding is essential.
- A strong portfolio of completed composite bonding/cosmetic cases which can be presented at interview.
- Experience with veneers, smile makeovers and/or clear aligner treatment would be advantageous.
- Excellent aesthetic judgement, attention to detail and high clinical standards.
- Strong consultation and communication skills with the ability to understand patients' expectations and explain treatment clearly.
- Professional, personable and confident approach to private patients.
- A genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience.
- Comfortable working independently while being a collaborative member of the practice team.
- Previous experience working as a visiting or locum Dentist across different practices would be advantageous.
