Role and Responsibilities:
- Identify and research new sales opportunities to drive new business
- Build and maintain customer and prospect contact databases.
- Contact prospects, develop relationships and recommend suitable solutions
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Provide regular updates on new products and services
- Follow up all quotations promptly and provide feedback
- Gather customer feedback, market insights and competitor information
- Contribute to the sales team by meeting individual and team sales and gross margin targets
- Promote all products and value added services
- Process orders on the system and manage them from start to completion
- Respond to internal and external emails in a timely manner
- Visit customers to promote AFG, BM Steel and the full product range.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Confident speaking with new contacts by telephone
- Able to build strong client relationships
- Committed to promoting excellence
- Be enthusiastic and energetic
- Be motivated to sell and be driven to meet personal and team targets
- Able to work independently
- Ideally experienced in steel profiling/general steel products
