This exciting role is part of our agile ‘Hub’ team within Internal Communications & Engagement. You’ll be at the heart of the communications we deliver across the UK firm,
working with colleagues across the wider team and a wide range of stakeholders, helping ensure communications are aligned, audience-focused and engaging.
You'll lead the planning, development and delivery of high-quality communications initiatives and projects across a range of channels, including intranet content, firmwide emails, Viva Engage, digital signage, webinars and events. Providing advice and support to stakeholders, working collaboratively to deliver high impact and engaging communications campaigns.
You’ll also play an important role in supporting and guiding less experienced members of the Hub team, helping them build confidence and develop in their entry-level roles.
Through compelling storytelling and a strong understanding of audiences, you'll help bring our strategy, purpose and Shared Values to life.

Essentials:
- Experience in an internal or external communications role.
- Stakeholder management, often navigating decision-making and balancing priorities.
- Great writing and storytelling, especially when it comes to simplifying complex technical content.
- Working to strict deadlines.
- Operating effectively with complex information and ambiguity.
- Effective channels management so that we land the right messaging, in the optimum way, for our different audiences using the channels available – and measuring impact.
- Creating compelling, high-impact content that’s consistent with Deloitte’s Content Principles and tone of voice. Simplifying the complex, making it value-adding rather than distracting.
- Reporting the effectiveness of project communications, using tools and methodologies that make sense of how we’re performing.
- Using insights to make recommendations for short, medium and longer-term improvements.
- Agility in working: you’ll need to be a team player with other UK Internal Communications & Engagement team members, and the wider communications and engagement team, in priority projects and any other tasks as required.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, and the ability to deliver against multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to build solid relationships and gain credibility with a range of stakeholders.
Additional desirable experience:
- Sentiment analysis of communications effectiveness.
- Communications technologies/platforms knowledge: Including the Microsoft 365 suite (SharePoint Modern, Viva Engage, as well as the Office applications) and Poppulo (for email) and confidence in prompting AI as a way of supporting your work
- Previous experience working in professional services and/or a partnership.
