Amber is looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team in St Andrews.
As part of the Dean Banks Group, Amber is a new Mediterranean-inspired restaurant bringing a fresh, vibrant dining experience to St Andrews. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and wants to be part of an exciting new opening.
The Role
As Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a key role in supporting the kitchen team and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Keeping the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised
- Washing and storing dishes, pots and kitchen equipment
- Supporting chefs with basic preparation when required
- Ensuring bins, waste and recycling are managed correctly
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Keeping the kitchen well stocked and organised
- Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy services
- Working efficiently as part of a fast-paced team
What We’re Looking For
You don’t necessarily need previous kitchen experience — a great attitude and willingness to work hard are more important.
We’re looking for someone who is:
