Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Removals Driver to join our dynamic and friendly team. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including large vans or Luton vans, to transport furniture and household items to designated locations.
- Load and unload items with care, utilizing heavy lifting techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled timelines.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times, procedures, and any potential delays.
- Assist with tasks such as inventory management, packing, and organizing goods for transport.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are maintained.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all shipments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or removals driver, with a strong track record of safe driving is advantageous but not essential.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent commercial driving license.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving.
