Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth handling, storage, and dispatch of goods within our warehouse environment. Duties
- Handling materials efficiently, including loading and unloading goods from lorries using appropriate equipment.
- Picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer specifications
- Stocking shelves and maintaining organised storage areas to optimise space utilisation
- Operating forklift trucks and other mechanical equipment safely and effectively - subject to training paid for by the Company.
- Managing shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are correctly documented within the warehouse management system
- Conducting quality control checks to verify the integrity of products before dispatch
- Assisting with stock rotation and inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times during daily operations
Experience
- Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
- Experience with materials handling, picking & packing, and stock management is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating forklifts is a plus, subject to certification requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for quality control and inventory accuracy

Pay: £22,600.00-£27,000.00 per year
