Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team during the summer months. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various self catering properties. If you have experience in commercial cleaning we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to safety guidelines and follow established protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests or residents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with guests
Note: This is a temporary position during our busy season. Weekend work may apply.
The hourly rate for this role is £12.71. This rate is applicable only to employees aged 21 and over in accordance with current National Living Wage legislation. Different rates apply for workers under 21.
