About the Role:
We are looking for a multi-skilled, hard-working warehouse supervisor to join our busy warehouse team. This is a practical, fast-paced role for someone who can take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, while also being willing to get involved with the physical side of the operation. You will supervise warehouse activities, coordinate the team, maintain stock accuracy and ensure orders are prepared and dispatched safely and on time.
The successful candidate will be confident working under pressure, able to prioritise competing demands and capable of leading by example in a busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting the warehouse team on a day-to-day basis.
- Planning and allocating daily warehouse tasks to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Preparing stock onto pallets accurately and efficiently for dispatch and pickup.
- Ensuring parcels are correctly labelled for different couriers.
- Coordinating the loading of courier vehicles safely, efficiently and accurately.
- Overseeing the unloading and processing of returned goods.
- Communicating effectively with the office team.
- Unloading 20ft and 40ft containers as required.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Adhering to clean as you go policies in other areas of the company.
- Helping to train and support warehouse team members where necessary.
- Regular heavy lifting is required in this role.
- Ability to multi-task in a high pace environment.
- Train employees in new SOP’s as required
Skills & Experience Required:
Ability to Work Under Pressure – Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Time Management – Prioritise tasks effectively.
Self-Motivation – Work independently and take initiative.
Forklift License - Essential
Health & Safety Awareness – Follow all safety procedures.
Manual Handling Experience – Comfortable with heavy lifting and safe handling practices.
